A friend who has been taking Seroquel for about 3 years told me that her son had gained weight with each dose, and she had tried many other medications, and this has all been good. I have taken it for several months now, I think it's safe for him to continue taking it. However, I feel that he is going to take it for the rest of his life, it is not something he has ever had a problem with and it is not a good thing. I feel it's important to me, but he does not want to have to suffer through a drug that is not working for him. I do not want to put him in prison and the money that he has to spend on food and other things would have been better spent on him. I would like to say that I have tried a few other options and the results have been very good. The only thing that I do not want to do is stop Seroquel XR. I want to stop taking it because I have heard that it might be better for a while. I do not want to make a big mistake. If I can get this thing back to normal, I will not be taking Seroquel XR again.

I had a hard time with it. It is very hard on my body when you have to take it. If I were to take it on an empty stomach, I would do it the next day. I am very sorry if you are having these side effects. You have to be on a very stable dose. However, I have gained a lot of weight. I have lost about 7 lbs and I have also gained about 4 pounds since I started the medication. I feel very happy with it. Thank you for the advice, I will be keeping trying again.
